Peter T. Furst Photograph Collection

Abstract Peter T. Furst (1922-2015), a cultural anthropologist, college professor, and researcher, photographed and collected images of pre-Columbian and colonial Latin American, Native American, and Asian cultures and objects, as well as flora and fauna specimens. Furst used these images for his teaching and research. Collection also includes photographs by his wife, and some commercially produced slides.

Taos Talking Pictures Records

Abstract This collection contains administrative materials of Taos Talking Pictures, producers of media education programs and an annual film festival. Records include board and staff meeting minutes, financial records, photographs and correspondence. There are news clippings, articles, publicity, programs and other information on the Taos Talking Picture Festival and the Media Literacy Forum. The collection also includes VHS tapes and DVDs of films screened at the Festivals.
